Hightown Housing Association is a fast-growing provider of affordable and supported housing in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire with over 7,000 homes, 1,000 staff and an annual turnover of £100 million. We expect to develop 2,000 new affordable homes over the next four years.
Our aim is to deliver demonstrable social value and impact in all of our activities and we are a leading member of the Homes for Cathy group working with other housing associations to end homelessness.
Our Board members are the custodians of our enduring vision and values. The Board sets the strategic aims of the Association and approves key policy decisions and new business while ensuring high governance and operational standards. We are looking to attract a diverse group of people who can bring professional skills and insight and allow us to fill up to three non-executive Board positions.
We are particularly looking for individuals with skills/experience in one or more of the following areas: housing development; governance in organisations with charitable purpose/public benefit objectives; HR/organisational development; lived experience of social housing; and marketing/communications.
