Youth Futures Foundation
The Youth Futures Foundation are an independent, not-for-profit organisation established in December 2019 to improve employment outcomes for young people from marginalised backgrounds. There are over 750,000 young people not in education or employment in the UK and the young are twice as likely to be unemployed than older adults in the labour market, especially young people from marginalised backgrounds.
The Youth Futures Foundation aims to ensure that future generations have access to fulfilling work, no matter their background. They are an ambitious, data driven organisation that wants to tackle the root causes of this issue and are not afraid to develop and try radical new approaches. Their approach is threefold, in that they aim to change the youth employment system, create opportunities with employers and build capacity with practitioners.
There are few organisations better placed to tackle one of the biggest ethical and economic challenges of our time.
