Plan International UK

Director of Finance and Resources

£90,000

London

Plan International UK is a global children’s charity. We work for all marginalised and vulnerable children and young people, but we recognise that often girls are the most disadvantaged and vulnerable and face their own distinct limitations on their rights. We champion and prioritise girls’ rights at every opportunity and are proud to be a leading voice in the UK for girls’ rights globally.

We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance and Resources to join our leadership team. This is an exciting time for the organisation as we embark on the implementation of our new three-year strategy. A strategy that this role will be integral in bringing to life.

You will need experience of working in a strategic role at Board level, with a relevant accountancy qualification and experience of managing an IT function. We are looking for someone who can help us to ensure that our Finance and IT functions are aligned to meeting the needs of our new strategy.

An inclusive and inspirational leader, who has operated in a complex and dynamic environment, you’ll need to be strategic but pragmatic in your approach and able to demonstrate success in working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver change.  You will have exceptional interpersonal and communications skills and be a role model for Plan’s values and for feminist leadership principles.

If you’re motivated by our purpose and values, enthusiastic about making an impact and playing a key role in delivering new our strategy, please visit our microsite https://search.green-park.co.uk/planuk to find out more and contact our search partner, Green Park

Closing date for applications: 11:59pm Sunday 28 February 2021

Plan International UK is committed to being an inclusive employer and we welcome applications from candidates from all backgrounds.  We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds as they are currently underrepresented at this level in the leadership team.
