Appointment to the Planning Committee of the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC).

The Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) is a statutory planning authority and regeneration agency, established by the Mayor of London in 2015 to deliver one of the largest and most ambitious regeneration projects in the UK.

Harnessing the huge potential of the forthcoming HS2 and Elizabeth Line (Crossrail) station at Old Oak Common, and drawing on the rich heritage and assets of the local community and the Park Royal industrial estate, we are planning a new, super-connected and sustainable urban district of 25,000 new homes with a rich diversity of employment, leisure and local amenities.

To help us push ahead with our vision for change, we now need a new member of our Planning Committee to help determine planning applications, advise on the preparation and review of our Local Plan and provide specialist planning advice.

The time commitment expected would be to attend Planning Committee once a month, to attend the monthly site visit and occasional briefings.

With a strong commitment to West London and its communities, you will have extensive professional experience of town planning, urban design and community engagement in the context of major development and urban regeneration projects
